Neat! I'm quite interested in hearing any tales of successfully applying it to old family military 6m rigs, whether embedded in the radio, hidden inside a handset, or patched in as an external accessory. Thanks for sharing this, Glen.
I wonder what would happen if you asked about a model with on-board regulation to operate from filament voltages typically present in radios like the PRC-6, PRC-10, etc.? Or perhaps powered from carbon mic bias voltage? Hmm, this gives me an idea for making a bias-powered 150 Hz encoder to embed inside an H-33 handset.
