The heartbreaker with these rigs is the nearly unobtainium 8117 final tube.
I am looking at maybe converting one of mine to use the more readily
available (via old Motorola Motrac hi power radios) 8643.

Subject: [MRCG] Looking for AN/URC-35

I got an email from a non-MRCG-member who is looking for an AN/URC-35. If
you have an extra one hiding under the living room end table which he might
procure, please contact him directly. He is not subscribed to the MRCG
mailing list.

transceiver like we used on my Minesweeper MSO-444 during the Nam thing. I
have a General Amateur ticket and think this would be an excellent HAM rig.
Not too many around. If you know of one or have any ideas as to how I could
go about tracking one down, please let me know.
