Hi Bjorn,
I cannot make Friedrichshafen this year,
as I plan to walk a part of the Appalacian trial
in Georgia and North Carolina.
I will be attending MRCG, Dayton and Aberdeen MVPA though.
Now I know you do know this,
but just to be certain (and for others),
the British R1082 is a wooden box
with English valves/tubes, plug in coils,
and a regenerative receiver, airborne use, circa 1940.
The RT618 (similar to the R1051 receiver)
is a huge HEAVY 19" rack, ground based,
solid state synthesised rx tx, circa 1960,
with digital tuning and US made for the USN.
Regards
