[MRCG] Camp SLO event

John, Mark and the entire team...FANTASTIC JOB, and greatly appreciated!  

We had an ad-hoc net last night with Paul, N6FEG doing the net control honors, with most of the conversation around the Camp SLO event.  I really enjoyed the activities and John did a fantastic job putting it all together and managing the Group funds/T-shirts, etc.  The guard at the gate even kept his firearm holstered this year when folks drove up with several tons of 'stuff'.  I owe Tim (N6CC) dinner at the mess hall, as he won the first T-hunt...but they were closed Friday night.  I am convinced that Mark, NF6X, enjoyed the T-hunt somewhat sadistically as he shot video of the three of us wondering aimlessly for 15 minutes in a 50' radius looking for the transmitter suspended from an RV's water heater grill.  Crazy reflections...  I could have sworn he'd shoved it into the tailpipe.  Lastly, Ryan was quite the popular arrival and attracted a large crowd with his dad's surplus items.  I had to push my way through to pick up arranged purchases before they disappeared!  And what a packing job!  I don't think you could have shoved even one more BC-611 into that station wagon (I am now looking to purchase one of those cars...wow).
