[MRCG] TED-7, URR-35A, and R390A

As part of a package deal to (finally) acquire an R390A, (WooHoo!!) I also
wound up with a TED-7 transmitter (225 to 400Mhz AM/MCW) and an AN/URR35A
receiver, same frequency range.

Am I correct in my assumption that there is absolutely ZERO collector
interest in that TED-7?

As I look upon it as a nice box of parts, three 4x150's, power supply for
same, and a plate modulator sub-assembly comprising of two 807's. I'd like
to re-purpose it down to 40/80/160M, assuming no one cared. ;)

No idea what I might do with the URR-35A, the last one that came my way was
pretty difficult to get rid of.

The R390A was playing away when I walked into the seller's shack, though
I've since replaced the killer capacitor and his neighbor in the IF
section, along with the rotting acid electrolytic in the AF section. I'm
waiting on the mail man to bring me caps to re-stuff the big electrolytics,
they have a 1956 date code, so I figure its about time.

I really wanted to purchase the gorgeous drop-in replacement repro caps
from Hayseed Hamfest, but whether wisely or not, I decided on spending the
same amount at Mouser for parts and tools that will get a lot more radios
up and running besides this one.

I am on the lookout for a replacement for the missing nomenclature plate
for the R390A, mine is of Stewart Warner manufacture. I've seen them on
ebay, and well... I could buy lots more orange drops with that much $!

Thanks,
Jason W6IEE
