Craig, Ed, et-al

I’ve had a pair of these for years. One was a rescue from down in Mexico where only the low voltage output was being used, apparently for lighting purposes.
Smokey, noisey little beasts. Rigging up a much longer interconnecting cable makes them more pleasant to use.

Early versions of the -162 had a second connector on the side for powering the SCR-284 as well. I made up an adapter cable to do this with my SCR-284s.
The filament voltage must be readjusted slightly when switching between radios.

Good finds!
