Hi John,

I finally got around to review my emails today.  I am sorry that your friend has passed on.  His work was outstanding and I am happy that most of us have some of it to remember him by.  Loosing a good friend is never easy and I know you will miss him.  Think of the good times with him and be thankful that you got to spend those with him.  I new met him but I am sure we all will miss his great work.  Again, I am sorry for your loss.
