My previous attempt to send this didn't work, so I'm trying again with a different mailing list setting. I hope this won't take too many tries! :)

David K6DVD checked into the AM net a week or three ago. He lives near Buellton, CA, and has an RT-70 for sale, along with an LS-166 speaker, H-33 handset, and an AS-1729 antenna (from the later AN/VRC-12 series sets) with the "sugar scoop" mount. I offered to pass along his for-sale notice to the list, since this is the sort of gear that may interest one of us. I already have all of this equipment, naturally. :)

The RT-70 is a cute little low-power 6m FM radio, with a vehicular interphone amplifier and power supply in the included AM-65. He's including an MT-300 mount, which would make this configuration into the majority of an AN/VRC-7 set:

I'm experimentally trying out enabling .JPG and .PNG image attachments on the mailing list. If it works, then David's picture should be attached.

Please contact David directly if you're interested in his gear: david at dalfonso.us
