Real radios require...er...horses.

2nd Army Maneuvers, Arkansas, September 1941. 107th Cavalry Regiment of Ohio, consisting of horses, Motorcycles and Scout Cars go into speedy action against the enemy. Soldiers of Troop 8 sending and receiving messages on portable pack radio, which can be used on the ground as well as on the pack. It has a range from 25 to 50 miles and weighs approximately 175 lbs.
