HaHa...Us Squids view Nasal Aviators as those we must transport, house,
feed, fuel, rearm, resupply (especially sun glasses from the Ships Store) ,
launch, recover - after getting just the right amount of wind across the
deck - at precisely the right relative bearing - and then tell them the
range and bearing to the target - and what that target is. and sometimes
rescue them...Etc... And they make a lot of noise up on the roof too.....
And the BirdFarm Captain is one of them critters - so he must be
extensively trained on which end of the ship is the pointy end and which
end is the flat end....And REAL sailors consider BirdFarm's to be floating
hazards to navigation !! LOL Flame Shields Up!

In other news.....I thought "crows" was the icon of the flying EW guys, not
comms guys in general....I dunno.
BTW - The Octopus Radioman cartoon was taken from a 1943 PT Boat crewman's
manual. It's been around for a long time but I don't know what its' actual
origin is...

All in good fun....
GO NAVY!
