Got the sad news from my friend below.

Al attended many of our MRCG Meets in the past but had been absent , for health reasons, the last few years.

Al was a active participant on the Clatternet

Well I saw the official obit for Al Tipsword this week in the paper, took a while 'to find a e-mailable
version.

Al W6GER Tipsword passed away Jan 23rd. He was 75 years old.

Looks like he and his wife moved into a retirement home
here in town.

Funny she did not reach out to any one I know to get rid of his
radio equipment.
