[MRCG] GRC-9 and BC-1306

Question: 
What material is the grill made of on the BC-1306?  I plan to fabricate a set of grills based on pics.  The grill pieces are definitely pinned and riveted...and for weight purposes I assume they are Aluminum but would appreciate a confirmation.

Comment:
I will be visiting a friend in the Northern LA basin and "he has a friend that has a used GRC-9 who wants to sell it ...... know anybody that might be interested ??"  He hasn't seen it yet, but he says that it is operational. No asking price yet either.  If anybody is interested I will inquire further.  I will see him on Friday...so timing is tight if you want me to broker this and pick it up for you.
