Ed -
FB on the TCS. I need to have a look at mine, the receiver wasn't working
well the last time I tried it... I think I'm going to bring it to SLO for
fun this year. Maybe we can have a TCS shootout.
Yes on the P51 - this one is a "C" variant that is being restored to CBI
theatre. I'm doing a radio compass and SCR-274N set for it. Might be ready
for Oshkosh this year if they finish the wing. Delivered a fresh SCR-522 for
a ANG P-47 Razorback a month ago, but it'll be another 3-4 years before it's
done. It was pulled out of a jungle in the south pacific, where it had been
flipped on its back and a wing hacked off.

John,
Working for me , thanks. Are you working the next P-51??
Last weekend I ran an MRCG type station out at Fort Rosecrans, my TCS a
WWII equipment display as part of the "Fort Rosecrans Goes to War" event
commemorating Pearl Harbor. TCS was working great, good antenna current
etc, but not many AM contacts 0n 7293. Even with that it was fun with
lots of folks interested in the display equipment and seeing something
that old, including me I guess, actually work. Next time I run the
ART-13 rather than just display it.
