Surprise!  The January 2016 QST magazine had a nice article on using Military Surplus radios (focus on the ARC-5), and tips on how to put them on the air without permanent modifications.  Nice to see this in a current publication.  I have attached the PDF...I doubt it will make the distribution...but would be happy to forward it to anyone here if you are curious.

John...NICE job getting the manual library up and running.  I will bring all of the manuals I've collected over the years to the SLO gathering...I may have a few not already in the list.
