Guys (and gals)...an acquaintance of mine is liquidating some military aircraft receivers.  I told him I would pass this along.  He goes by "airbum" on fleabay.

"You might check with your contacts and see if anyone would be interested in any ARC-73 aircraft radios. I have several receivers, control heads, and mounting racks. No transmitters. Sold those as I am only interested in monitoring.  Steve - WA7HAA"

P.S. Keep your eyes peeled for VRC-19 gear.  The radio is as ugly as a mule, and about the same size.  No dials, gauges or knobs to twiddle with, so it comes very close to actually being a boat anchor.  Details can be found here: http://radionerds.com/index.php/AN~VRC-19
