Very interesting. Let's go Washtub (geo) cache hunting! 

GRC9 seems most obvious but what about the RS6 stuff? Not sure when that came out but would be a candidate and it's actual use has been the subject of debate which could be misinformation residue trickling down through the years. It's lack of id tags, compactness, and versatile PS also suggests 'spy radio' more than even the 109 which is clearly marked as US gear. Dunno but an interesting topic for sure.
