[MRCG] the BC-640

Gosh, I'd take it, but I already have two! The unit for sale is the later B
model, which was cost reduced by eliminating three meters and adding
switches to make them multi-function (The switches. There is also a BC-639
rack that has two or three receivers, plus a frequency meter and two wire
control for remote transmitter operation. I have yet to be able to find
information on this rack, or even it's designation. I have my BC-640A and
receiver rack tuned to 144.45, for our local net. The set covers 100-156
MHz. Too bad the guy cut the harness, it would be time consuming to
replace, perhaps he was under a time constraint.

I believe there is a BC-640 in the radio museum room at Eagle Field near
Dos Palos... i think it even had a Dymo label with a ham call sign... so it
should work on two meters just fine.. AM of course
