Well, another difficult net... signals good initially except poor copy from
Jim W6JVE. Copied Jim K6FWT, too. Condx deteriorated pretty quickly, could
still hear but not demodulate. Think there are still multiple issues in the
R392 and CV278 - both need alignment. The spare receiver has been on the
bench.
Maybe an earlier time would help, perhaps even shifting to a morning vs an
evening net ? I seem to recall that's when Dave N7EPI used to run... maybe
this is why.

Hi Jim FWT - - you were off frequency at first but later on you were OK.
Your sig is reasonably strong here and I had good print
on you but you may be having local receiver noise problems. I was hearing
everyone pretty well except for Jim in Fayetteville, he was in -and-out as
the band shifted.
The band started to "go long" around 1815 local so maybe an even earlier
start time might be prudent given the early sunsets. I also worked K6PWP
after the net closed down. he was strong on QSB peaks, then faded as
well. All in all, pretty good comms. The CV-2455/PRC-47 was receiving and
decoding pretty well.
Thanks for running this gaggle Mark!
