[MRCG] Thanks for a fine annual meet!

I second the motion, we all should give a big Bravo Zulu to John Castorina, Dennis Duvall, and the the others that made the event happen.   It was a joint effort of a group of people but John and Dennis really put it together and made it happen.   It doesn't seem possible that next year will be the twentieth anniversary but I look forward to another event as good as the current one was.   I hope to see all the usual suspects again next year but we need more newbies.   Newbies are the lifeblood of this little scene we have going and without newbies you all know what happens.    

I remember very well the first time I saw Camp San Luis Obispo at the second MRCG meet.   It was the perfect place and we thanked Dave Ragsdale for pointing us to Camp SLO.    Those early years were perfect and you could just drive right in and go anywhere in those pre 9-11 days.    

We should share our ideas on the MRCG net.   The first event at the hotel in SLO was the idea of Hank Brown W6DJX and the event was planned on the net and with mailings of fliers because in those days no one had email.    Tom
