Both Mark and Andy have had one of these sets at one time or another.  They are getting more rare.  The hand crank generator that would work with this set was superior in design to the GN-58 (with the advantage of several decades of technology).  It is a brushless alternator design.  Not sure if the outputs from the generator (not included in this auction) would be compatible with the GRC-9...considering design similarities, I would not be surprised if it worked.
