*Tim & all Who is our contact with MVCC in getting an area for us to set
up, outdoors and or indoors? Was it John Neuenburg , Dave Ball or Kurt
Lesser? August 2016 will be here before we know it and if we want to make a
good showing some planning now on what we want to do there as a group
might be helpful. We want to be included when they do a walk through on how
they plan to do their layout and to see where we can fit in. Paul N6FEG*

Hi Paul - Well John and Dave are the MVCC Co-Chairmen for this 2016 event.
So John asked me: "We ought to talk about radios and sparkies playing a
part in our 2016 MVPA Convention. Maybe your club can have a concurrent
event? Or a bunch of tables?"

Speaking for myself, I said yes - and that prompted my note to the larger
MRCG group...I have worked with John and Kurt on military radio Ops and
displays at the last 6-8 MVCC events in Lodi. Our participation goes back
the Big Bear rallies in Waterford, maybe even Woodson Bridge....... John is
the displays coordinator among other tasks...

MVCC is a great bunch interesting, fun guys and we all have O.D. or Black
Wrinkle paint in our blood. Joint Ops with them makes perfect sense to
me...I'll be there with some kind of operational display in any event....

Not sure of the status of advance planning, but I can help. *It all comes
down to who will actually show up and participate.* A post on previous
MVCC-MRCG Joint Ops at Camp Delta:

As in all things West Coast, it takes some fuel, time and motivation to get
there...

How did your 1999 Ops at eh Santa Clara convention go??
