Hope you guys can field a display for this major event.
The last convention was in Portland OR, was a hugh success according to the local groups here in Puget Sound country.
Side benefit : Our group can/will be invited to do other, smaller local events. All good.
The local MVCC group comes to Vintage Aircraft weekend at Historic Flight Foundation, Paine Field, Everett/Mukilteo WA on Labor day weekend.
I have been ramrodding a special event station at VA weekend as N7P for the last 3 years. We set up on flight line, have airplane noise as QRM but is much fun. A WW2 operating vintage military/ham station would be welcome (with advanced planning).
AB7BF is doing it this year as I am not available, our 50th wedding anniversary is that weekend. Will be back for 2015 event.
One of HFF's aircraft is a B-25D, Grumpy. I found a BC-375 (no tubes) , tuning units, MG set (sad shape), trailing wire ant tuner plus a BC 348 receiver for display ( when we find the room). This is the as issued radio position for most B-25's. Do lack the trailing wire reel.
