I'll send you the file...I am not that familiar with the workings of
mechanical terminals etc but I thought "diddles" were sent by the
transmitting station to "maintain sync" when no information was being
sent. I dunno. Much for me to learn...
BTW, I think a ricebox connected to a crappy computer soundcard will run
circles around the best RATT gear, including that ancient HAL stuff.
fldigi operating my sound card it amazing. I can print stuff I cannot
hear...then there's the AFC function... wow....
