Hi Chuck -

When you get a chance, could you measure the B+ on your RA-62 with no load ?
After getting mine working (recapped, replaced bad bleeder, etc) my no-load
voltage is +465 volts with the power switch in the 125 position. The bias is
spot on at -150, and the filaments seem ok at +14. For comparison, my
dynamotor no-load B+ is 300 v, about what it's supposed to be... hmmm.

Thanks
John WB6AZP

Well after looking for a Receive crystal with no luck I am open to the best
method to "grind" one of the ones I have up to the correct frequency.

What is the best way to go with trying this? I have trolled the internet
and found a couple of ideas but wanted to ask if anyone has tried any of
them with any
sucess.

Any ideas welcome.............................

Chuck
