I bought a BC-375 at the California Historical Radio Society Swap on
Saturday the first in Bezerkley. It was in pretty good shape, no tubes, the
front cover was missing and the top cover had been dinged. The guy wanted
$50 for it, told he sold the 211 tubes for $100 each, I got it for $35 and
bought it for a friend.
The tubes are what make these so expensive, the radio set is interesting
from ahistorical point of view but a pretty poorly performing radio. I have
one with two spare 211's, it will get restored by me eventually, my father
was a Bombardier, Navigator, Radio Operator on B-24's in WWII. That is the
main reason I will restore this one to operation.

"... the four 211's in the set alone are worth $900". F'k1n nut case Sh*t!
$225 for a 211 tube ? Let the G1Z bag ask the price but who will pay it??
Tell him or them to keep the tubes( in suppository form) then ask about the
radio. From my standpoint, having all the parts, the box is the real find.
