Tim -
Thanks for running the small net last night.
I was using the GRC-19/46 setup (T-195/R-392 etc), with the CV-278 IF
discriminator demod driving the Kleinschmidt TT-119 I just resurrected, and
transmitting with the same machine thru the MD-203 FSK unit. Simultaneously,
the R-392 audio was driving the Dovetron and M28 ASR.
Results - the Kleinschmidt printed well only with the strongest signals, and
little or no QRM. Any noise seemed to kill it. The Dovetron/M28 combo
printed nearly 100% from both you and Jim, even during the worst QRM.
The manual states the reliable range of the GRC-46 as 50 miles, and last
night provided some evidence to support that.

Hi guys - had a good but small net tonight. Just WB6AZP in Santa Paula and
W6JVE in Fayetteville AR, The band held up fine, pretty much 100% print
from both stations here. John's Kleinschmidt was working well, "sounds"
great HiHi.
Looks like that concludes MRCG Clatternet Ops for 2014 - a good year to get
this net back into operation. Hope more of you-all can get some gear going
and check in too.
73 to all and Happy New Year
Tim, N6CC
