Steve -

Great that you and Jim were able to make the effort that late. Maybe we can
start earlier when the East Coast is awake, especially if propagation would
be better.

Just copying the mail I heard Jim, W6JVE, pretty good here just outside of
Atlanta.

Other stations were quite garbled. Did see Mark, NF6X, come and go as far
as copy was concerned.

I was using FLDigi via a Flex 6700 on a Cushcraft X9 with the 40 Meter kit
at 50 feet pointed to a heading of 280. Might fire up the Dovetron and
Kleinschmidt if I can start getting better copy. No need to waste paper for
garble.

Will try again next week if I can stay awake that late. Maybe I'll sleep
later on Sunday morning!

Would be interesting to see a list of everyone that was listening and from
where and also those that transmitted and from where.

Thanks for the info, and the clatternet was heard and worked from here in
Arkansas. Not very good copy, but at least some copy. This was using
modern radio and computer (as the others seem to be using also) but now that
it works maybe I will get the green radios into action again.
