Hi Marc - Tnx for the report...fldigi does support almost anything you can
think of. Go to the top menu, click Configure, then click Modems. You can
set the shift to 850 Hz, 45.45 Baud, 5 data bits, 2 stop bits, no parity.
Save and close, you're good to go. You can also do that by clicking Op
Mode, RTTY and then Custom to set in any parameters (besides "Ham
Standard") that you want...
After setting up 850, you see the tuning centerline on the waterfall
display with the 425 Hz band limit lines on wither side of it. When the
RATT signal lines appear, drag the tuning over to them. The AFC works well
too. On the right hand edge you can set the Squelch threshold slider so
you don't print gibberish when the noise is below the line you set - works
great...I'm still learning fldigi - but it is very powerful. It even
prints pretty good weather fax maps...
