[MRCG] [OT] Recent MRCG mailing list problems

Hey there, folks. Some recent changes made by several email providers have caused problems for many MRCG mailing list members. List messages sent to members with email addresses in certain domains (such as @hotmail.com, msn.com, etc.) have been rejected, and our mailing list software automatically disabled and then unsubscribed those members. These changes were introduced to help fight spam, but unfortunately they broke compatibility with a lot of existing mailing lists. The folks who run our mailing list server have made some changes which should hopefully fix this problem.

I've sent list subscription invitations to everybody for whom I've seen a recent unsubscription notice, under the assumption that most or all of them have been automatically unsubscribed by mistake. If you received this email through the MRCG mailing list, then your subscription is working fine. It's the folks who aren't reading this message who are affected. :)
