A few things:

1) This mailing list does strip binary attachments, by design, as is common for this sort of mailing list. As Richard pointed out, this is a deliberate choice. The slow connection reasoning is still applicable, too: I'm posting this message over my cell phone in a poor-coverage area, as better internet connectivity options are presently not available at my home.

2) This mailing list is hosted by QTH.net, not by Yahoo. Marc, I believe that anything you're seeing from Yahoo is most likely happening at your end of the connection, and has something to do with your internet service provider and/or the email software you're using.

3) I don't see how this topic of edible larvae is related to the MRCG's charter or activities. Please stay on-topic.
