Hi All,
Seeing all of the SLO pics has made me really want to get my TCS set on the
air. I have two transmitters of unknown functionality, and few receivers,
one working, but with a BFO that at the moment doesn't work. Most of that
list came from the yard at Apex Surplus, sitting outside likely for more
years than I've been alive!
Somewhere I have a remote control box, but my recollection is that its on
the rough side.
I've been dragging these things around with me for years, under the
impression that I'd 'brew up an AC power supply and get it on the air. Like
so many projects go, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Project just
got bumped up to the "Needs to get Done" level.
So, I'd be very interested in a dynamotor power supply and a set of cables.
(I've only got the cannon connector to go to the receiver, as that's how I
powered it up a few years ago.) I'm definitely not looking for a museum
piece, wouldn't match the rest of the set, nor my budget!
75 Meters is usually trashed by 10 over S9 suburban QRN at my place, so I
figure a DC supply that might allow the whole pile to go into a vehicle
would be a worthy option.
Thanks!

PS FYI I'm the guy that's been intermittently selling old radio junk
previously at TRW, (no more) now at Chino Hills, out of the back of an old
green Ford Explorer, and have been most recently been trying to unload a
PRC-47 with a hand crank generator. I also run a small orphanage for some
of WB6AZP's orphan teletypes. ;)
