Ed;

Sorry I missed you when we were in Borrego Springs in Feb.
Set up in rental and had a FB month on the air.
Can't make SLO XYL sez no way.
The BC-375, tuning units, trailing wire ant tuner, MG set now on display at Historic Flight Foundation, Paine Field, Mukilteo WA. No plans to put on air at this time.
HFF has acquired a 1942 Butler hanger, large enough for 3 B-25 or C-47 aircraft. Is now disassembled / stored at Moses Lake WA . Should be set up at Paine Field by summer 2014, Snohomish county has given OK to put on field near HFF. My plan is to move the radio's to shop area in "new" hanger. Hope to get OK to put up Vintage type antenna and put on air along with modern operating station.
Speaking of modern, a couple of HFF member hams (self included) are going to operate special event station at HFF 5/18 call N7P. see eham & QRZ special event listings. If more then one rig I will run CW but 40 / 20 SSB for sure as I'm the only CW guy. Special QSL card with B-25D "Grumpy". Grumpy is oldest flying B-25.

......... part of Radio Set GRC-27

I have vile memories of dealing with evil Greek/Jerk -27s....replaced by
even nastier URC-9/SRC-20/SRC-21
The Collins GRC-27 was very specturally clean however and used for the
basis of some early satcom.
