Welcome aboard.
We (hams) can operate the old, wide deviation FM sets between 29.0 and
29.7 mHz in the ham 10Meter band so you would need an SCR-608 (or
SCR-808) and an SCR-610 (BC-659) if you plan to actually operate the
radios. At Ft. MacArthur in San Pedro we have an M-16 with an
operating BC-659 installed and a 3/4 ton dodge command car with an

We also have a recently acquired M3A1 Scout car in which we are in the
process of installing additional SCR-284 and BC-659 radios.
