I just unpacked my new RU-19 set. I'm pretty excited about it! According to the tuning chart on the tube cover, I have all of the original tuning units except for range F. The pile includes a mismatched dual-range tuning unit that covers range F, but I can't tell yet whether that one is made for the RU-19 because of dataplate corrosion. Best of all, except for that single mismatched tuning unit, all of the components have matching serial numbers! Radio, tuning units and dynamotor are all marked with serial number 8002. If a range F tuning unit with serial number 8002 turns up, I'll certainly want it. The contract date on my set is April 21, 1941.

The pile included a home-brew power supply, which I don't plan to use. I plan to configure the set as originally as possible, using the dynamotor supply. There's at least one modification that I need to figure out and un-do, because there's a toggle switch mounted on a bent piece of sheet metal at the lower right corner of the radio's front panel.

I have the mating connector for the radio, but not for the dynamotor.

I don't know how many months or years it'll be before I get it on the air, but it'll be cool once I have the whole GP-7 + RU-19 rig working.

I'll probably post pictures on my web page sometime this weekend.
