I am not familiar with accommodations in the area, so I don't have any 
recommendations for motels to prefer or avoid. Does anybody else here know 
San Pedro better than I do?

I hope you can make it to the event.


I have not picked a place to stay either but will head up from SD on Friday 
about mid day to early afternoon. The last time I stayed in San P I looked 
at Google Earth with lodging highlighted then went to street view to look at 
the place....San P can be "interesting".
