Just a heads up: The weekly net has been meeting lately at 19:00 Pacific time on 3985. STarting next weekend, we'll shift it to 19:30 to avoid interference with another net in AZ.

Dennis, is 3950 the correct backup frequency? I thought it went to a higher frequency last weekend, but my memory may be faulty.

> The QRM we ran into last Sat. was a consequence of the Arizona Traffic And Emergency Net net over in AZ <http://atenaz.net/> shifting from their winter operating time to their summer schedule. Have exchanged e-mail with the NC who apologized for the QRM and assured me that they normally wouldn't be on the frequency more than 15 or 20 minutes. What I propose to do is monitor the frequency, jump in when they finish and shoot for starting our net at 7:30 from now on. If they run over on occasion believe we can live with that. In case of a real emergency they would own the frequency of course.
