I think that a mailing list moderator needs to approve new sign-ups in order to help keep spammers off the list. I think that John's the only one doing that right now, and I think he's also in the middle of a huge project at work, so it might take him some time to respond. I'll find out how to help out with that sort of stuff. I am able to log in to the administrative area, but I don't know what I'm doing yet, and I want to be cautious so I don't break stuff.
