Hi Ray,

Your mote brings up a question about the TBX-8 vs. all of the other models.  My copy of the CRF-20337 TBX vibrator power supply manual states that it is for both the TBX-7 and the TBX-8.  When I read the setup instructions and look at the diagram it does not say  there is any difference between the -7 and the -8.  This is contradicted by an AI query that says the receiver and trnsmitter cables are not compatible.  So, which version is correct?  I have a nice TBX-6 but no power supply yet.

Thanks and 73,

All this talk about TBX radios is making me think about running one for the 3885 AM Net at Hamvention.  I have the radio and the plug for the receiver and can throw together a power supply without much issue but need the four-pin power plug for the transmitter. Think it's a PL61 or something like that? Anyone got one? Or at least know the appropriate number for it?  Somehow think I have seen that plug used on some other radios too.
