Gene has a sharp eye for detail. Some one had sawed the BC-306 in half - all that remained in the bottom was the well constructed variometer. I found the unit while "Hanzing" through some boxes at a Baltimore Hamfest. It coversĀ  from 45 to 300 uH and is a great tool in my tuning of short antennas for 630 meter LF ops.

Someone relocated the nameplate from the top half of the original unit before they sawed it off.
