Lots of people responded to my email -- Thank you!.    I think I have my questions answered, but I am still unclear on some things.

This is the radio I have:   R-13B aka R-445 AN/ARN-30.

Several people sent me the manual ARN-30 TM_11-5826-215 and I thank you.  However, this manual is for the  AN/ARN-30.  The D variant is different from my model.

For the D model:
Type of modulation:  AM
Input Impedance  50 ohms
Audio output:  300 ohms

From M. W. Tauson's document I have the following for the AN/ARN-30 (no suffix for the model specified)

J-lO3 ( ) To Equipment Rack *25
1 Gnd  
2 Rec Audio
3 Gain Ctl 
4 Tuning Meter 
5 Navig Audio
6 +LV Source In
7 +HV Out 

So, I know the pinout to the MT-65 rack.   Is the D model info (impedances) the same for my model ?

I'v searched for R-13B manual, receiver, variants thereof, and come up with nothing.  Ditto for the control box.

Does anyone have manuals, or perhaps they can give me the secret search words.....
