Today’s 40 meter USB net had ten participants.  KB4HG running a Sunair GSB-900, K3TZJ running a AN/GRC-106 first round and a AN/PRC-70 second, K9WT with the TMC Company Store, K4NYW representing the Navy with his URC-32, W1NZR running a 618T3 and sounding very aviation like, WF2U on his RF-350/355, KE8ULR having a bit of a issue first round but solid on the second, N9KZI on another TMC and KW1I operating a GSB-900 I bounced between the Harris 5020 and a Sunair RT-9000 and have to say I am thinking that the RT-9000 is every bit as good a radio as the RF-350K family except half the weight and with a tuning knob that makes hunting open frequencies much faster. We did have a AM group on 7290 that was twenty over here but 7296 was open, tried 7285 but did not think that would work out. Think there was a net or something LSB on 7280 I did shot some video and will put something together next week of both the teletype and voice nets.
