Conditions sucked! The band was alright. About ten minutes before the top of the hour did hear some AM Gas bags on 7290 but that's cool but also a couple of AM stations trying to set up a QSO on 7295. Listend to 7280 and there was a QSO on LSB down at 7273
or so and occasional noise on 7280 including a LSB station for a couple before the top of the hour but then when KB4HG came up started hearing someone tuning up right on channel and then I think some AM stations started up around 7282, maybe 85 so with all
that crap going on did not try. But KB4HG and a couple others were there.
Maybe better luck next week? Just want to know where all this "lack of activity" on the Ham bands is?
Well, conditions were less than ideal here in Ohio. Went to 7.280 and was able to hear KA3EKH, KW1I and KB4HG. Unfortunately they were unable to hear me on the mighty PRC-47. Maybe next week.
