I was on the net in spirit if not in body. I was busy with activities at the beach. I did have my Tecsun PL-368 handheld receiver and heard the net Q5:

The Tecsun does a great job if you hold the radio in your hand. I guess it acts as a counterpoise to the whip.

 

Now that it is cooler I went hiking  at the  beach to look for supports for wire antenna but all the signposts were washed away with the flood tide.

 

I also read about the Seal Team 6 adventure in North Korea.
