Just when you thought it was safe to go back on the internet, I have released after only fifteen years the sequel to my wildly successful “BC-348 Modifications” video. Most people would not believe the amount of grief I got for hacking such a important part of history! Anyway this new video is of a bunch of BC-348 Q sets that I had and me throwing together three of them for friends.  Old video was shot with a camcorder in SD analog and the current one was shot on a I Phone in HD, how the world has changed.

Viewer advisory! I built this stuff up from parts sets including some Ham built power supplies. The goal was a working receiver and did not have any desire to do the dynamotor thing. You have been warned.

The BC-348 must be one of the most popular military surplus receivers on the Tube, with maybe only the Command/ARC-5 stuff having more videos.
