Hello all, 

I just acquired an old antenna set but not complete.. I don't have the spool. 

You can see from the pictures that it comes with a spool that looks like it winds up two separate wires I believe.. 

What is the spool wire for? Is it coax going to the radio? Is it a ground / counterpoise for the antenna? 

I have everything but the spool.

I found the video online of a gentleman I believe part of mrca around 12 years ago operating a tbx-4 with the antenna in question.
