Hi Guys - Nice clock Breck! (Not to steal the thread but nice Cootie key too BTW!)

30 years ago a guy showed up at the Livermore swap with a bucket of (Timecrafters) 12 hour clocks that came from RATT shelters.  Looks just like yours. Probably excessed via the Sacramento Army Depot.  I got a few but most didn't work and the ones that did were battery hogs.  Single AA cell.

So I replaced the movement with a 24-hour quartz movement (perfect fit).  Clockparts has them plus various hands kits.  I modified a set by adding phosphorescent tape to the hands (BIG glow at a campsite after charging!)
A buddy at work was a clock geek and he had some repair parts kits for military 24 hour clocks.  (Of course he did...)
I borrowed one of his replacement "dials", made a reduced-size photo copy and installed it with new hands in Frankenclock.  No more 30 day indication but it came out quite nice.  Happy camper.
