Good Grief!!! Next thing you will be using a D-104 with an ART-13!!! (did I ever get some Sh*t for that!!) Gotta have that (Crappy) carbon mic sound even though no one can understand your poor audio not to mention the Old Fartz like myself that have hearing deficits.

    Seems like a very common sense, minimally intrusive mod, Great Idea!!

When the radio is switched to XMIT there is no other indication that the HVPS and filaments are powered waiting for a Key closure in QSK/Break-in mode.  It draws 2 amps while waiting.  So I added a simple LED indicator that shines through an existing panel hole to alert me that I left it in XMIT mode by mistake or accident.  Dumb!
