Spent all day Saturday working on these two radios -- a quite enjoyable way to spend a Saturday......

The CBY-46145 is alive!

It needs more work and an alignment, but it's alive!

Just as an aside.... I can't find one station that plays music on AM...... sigh......

The BC-946B arrived with the Dynamotor connector and L14 missing and quite a few wires hanging out near those missing components.

I did some wire tracing and component testing then had a hunch that someone may have tried to convert this to 12V, so I looked at the filament circuit.   I was right,   Someone had attempted a conversion to 12V and didn't do it right.   So, I removed the offending wires.  To make a long story short, the radio is now running on 28V and the filament voltages are what they are supposed to be.   No HV to it yet.....
