That is a very nice radio.  Everyone should have one of the old girls in their house.  I am more of a Philco Man myself having this very nice 40-190, I also have a few smaller table tops also.

Wow man, if that’s a first generation (H-31) its one of the first superheterodyne receivers with a 175 Kc IF and push pull audio output stage to boot!  Too bad it takes up so much floor space.

Hi all, I have the attached GE Low Boy radio I need to get rid of. It worked fine about 30 years ago which was the last time I plugged it in. I am sure all caps need to be replaced. Repwood looks very good but the cabinet could stand a refinishing..

 

I'd hate to throw this out. It is free and I can deliver within 2 hours of 10510.  Heck, if you're interested, I'll pay you $25 to take it! That is how much I'd hate to see it trashed.
