Yes, I started this foolishness back about 1999.  I put up a web page, and various people built similar sets.  Full story HERE.
If this guy followed my plan, the three wires coming out will be ground, heater, and B+.  It should run on 3-4 9-volters in series.
You'll need a transformer or some sort of network to sub for the headset.

I just received this as part of a radio lot I purchased and would like to ask if anyone knows if this may be a standard kit that could be purchased or is it a homebrew rig and how to power it up ?  I would like to have it for a working display with my WWII MB jeep at shows.  I see "phones" so I assume it would need some type of amplified speaker for people to hear it on display.
